Excerpt from the first book:
Not so very far away in a special place called Itsitville live six Itsy Bitsy creatures called the ItsIts. There is ItsMe, who is loving and gentle; Dynomi (Dy no my), who understands that the more responsible you are, the more powerful you are; ChitChat, who is friendly and talks to everyone; Solo, who likes to spend time alone to think about things; EQ, who knows that everyone is important; and last but not least, Driver, who knows how to make things happen in a positive way.
The ItsIts’ houses sit high in the air on stilts. Itsitville is an island with white beaches and woods filled with wonderful creatures. On the far side of the island, where the ItsIts never go, is a muddy brown swamp and dark caves.

“This is fun,” said ItsMe.
Dynomi spoke up, “Have you heard about those new ItsIts who live in the caves down by the swamp? Maybe they would like to help us build our treehouse.”
“Oh, I’d love to chat with them,” said ChitChat. “Let’s invite them to visit.”
“Not a good idea. We don’t know anything about them,” said Driver.
“Oh, Driver,” said EQ, “just because we don’t know them doesn’t mean they won’t be fun and friendly.”
“Hush, all of you,” said Solo. “I gotta think, I gotta think.”
But before another word was spoken, the ItsIts heard a very, very strange noise coming from the top of the tree … |
